Kenya with Pastor Wilfred. He is such a delight.

Well this is the beginning of the Kenya ministry we work with in Kenya.   God really did a work in us when we were just starting out.  We were under a year old as a ministry ourselves and this minister contacted us and wanted us to send them studies and wanted to come underneath us as a ministry.   God was really using our studies to build him and his congregation up.   We took the time to get to know them and the Spirit of God was strong in leading to help him.  God Gave direction from Heaven in helping them.  I remember one time, Pastor Wilfred, they were getting no support from anyone and had an orphanage they were trying to keep going.   Kids sleeping on dirt floors and eating rarely, and starting to starve.  He emailed me and the sitution kept getting worse.  Days with out food, he said he killed his own goats to feed the children.  His last goats it sounded and that was just about the end of it.   Two of the children had to be taken to a medical clinic, very, very sick.  I was praying late at night and the Lord came in my Room and Said the Children will die!!!  It was clear and strong.  I was so moved by the presence of God and the Seriousness and demand of leading me to know the situation by His Expression.  I put off somethings we needed to do because I knew we could make up for it and sent some money to them.  Heck I even gave up some dvd movies I wanted to get....you know to be really humbled and corrected by God hurt but I was so thankful he showed me the reality of it.  It was real and I was so thankful God took the time to help me see the way He does.

As time went on, he went through trials.  This area of Kenya  was very strong in Mormanism.  He was persecuted and even I got emails from one guy who walked out of a meeting and let me know they were planning to do Wilfred wrong to stop the ministry because it was converting numbers of their people to Christ and Christianity.  He was very serious about it and very sorry for being apart of the meeting and said he was going to seperate himself from the Morman Church there.  It was a very trying time but Pastor Wilfred got ministers with him and held his ground and found good ministers in other parts of Kenya he could fellowship with and they help eachother.  Then CBN heard about Pastor Wilfred and the Orphans in Kenya and started to support the ministry.  Now they have two building for the orphans, the number has almost trippled that they have and they feed 100s of kids on the streets besides the ones in the orphanage.  CBN made a huge difference.  If you want to see the new buildings go to Kenya Undate 1 page.  See the old building and the new ones.  Then the most current reports from Kenya go to Kenya Update 2 page and you will see the updates, (with pics) we get about every 2 months from Kenya.

Hello bro. Jeff , greetings in Jesus name, thanks alot for your interest and concern about the work in kenya, iam indeed happy for your step, here in kenya we feel honoured.
  Bro you can go ahead and do that as i feel that if you do so our ministry will grow tramendiously, i could like to give a brief history on how our church started i hope you and many ather friends who will be visting the web will have a picture of our ministry as you read the testimony, I had given you my own testimony, so you can refer.
                                   CHURCH HISTORY
    Our church started in the year 2008 , it started as a Bible study group with the aim of wanting to have the Biblical knowledge and understanging because we still had that mormonism in us.Many people started joining us as we continued with our Bible study and fellowshiping, many of those who joined us were from the mormon church though many again were only coming for investigation, but God could change them and they could say out what God had done to them.
  Currently our church has grown and we now have five congregations across the country, i work as the overseer and co-ordinator  of the congregations  though it needs me more oftenly but with limited funds it has been through the grace of God  .We are not affliated with any church org.  but we believe God will work upon us mightly and direct us in His ways, we will also be honoured to be part of your ministry as we will get the oppotunity to use your materials for our day to day study

Our vision is to ensure that the work of God that we have started to reach many peolpe in our country and beyond, we also look forward to pray and ask our God to direct us as we are also planning to care for the orphans and widows who are in our church, in future if you can allow us to give you the pictures of our congregations and that of the orphans and widows we will be honoured to send them to you
